Dr. Liz Chesarek, PT, DPT, SCS - Leading Atlanta Physical Therapist
Liz Chesarek is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and a Board-Certified Sports Clinical Specialist specializing in the treatment and rehabilitation of orthopedic and sports-related injuries, with a strong background in dance and working with performing artists. She received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Chatham University in Pittsburgh, PA, after earning her Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Slippery Rock University in Slippery Rock, PA.
Liz is the Clinical Director of both Avondale Physical Therapy and Druid Hills Physical Therapy, where she oversees daily operations, clinician and business development, and ensuring high-quality patient care of both locations.
As an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), she has previously served as a Board Member for the Orthopedic Section Performing Arts Special Interest Group (PASIG) Nominating Committee and Membership Chair.
Her professional expertise and interests include injury prevention and rehabilitation for dancers and performing artists, adolescent athletes, cupping, and dry needling.
In her free time, Liz enjoys volunteering as a co-lead for Girl Scout troops, reading, and exploring Atlanta’s restaurant scene.
